Trekking and staying at Mama Lili.s was fabulous. We walked from Sapa up the mountain to the homestay. I had a lovely private little villa with my own bathroom. Suelim - her daughter inlaw cooked a deli opus tasty home style meal that we all shared. There are only 4 villas so never a big crowd. The atmosphere was friendly and as a single female traveller I had a memorable time. The next day we trekked ba kdown through the rice fields and local villages.

Our two nights at Mama Lili's were absolutely wonderful. Mama Lili and Su Ly are two extraordinary women with whom we shared very good meals, a good amount of happy water, and a breathtaking 8-hour trekking with some of the best views we've ever seen. Cannot recommend it enough!

Lili and Julie are great guides for treks at mountains. The new bungalow we stayed in was very cozy and views from the terrace are stupendous. Food was also delicious. Higly recommended!

Si volviese a Sa Pa volvería mil veces más a donde Mama Lili, pasamos dos días enteros con ella y una noche, Mama Lili fue super atenta y nos enseño toda la zona, hicimos treking los dos días visitando los pueblos de alrededor y los arrozales. Alojamiento y comida incluidos, Mama Lili te viene a buscar al pueblo en Sa Pa. Las comidas muy ricas. Mama Lili es super amable, con un corazón enorme y cariñosa. Mama Lili sabe hablar perfectamente inglés pero si contactáis con ella por favor mandarle un audio por WhatsApp, es mucho más sencillo para ella.

We couldn't be happier with this experience. Su Ly approached us in SaPa market while we were trying to decide where to go for trekking around the area and she offered us to go to her homestay and hike with her.
At the beggining we were a bit hesitant but she really has a special charm so me gave it a try and everything ended up being way better than what we expected. From the lovely (and remote, very remote) homestay with amazing views, to the beautiful and interesting trekking that we did with her to the food that her husband prepared. Everything was 10/10. We even decided to stay one more night.
I would defenitely recommend getting in contact with Su Ly asap if you're in SaPa. She'll take care of the rest and will make you wish you had more time to stay.
